I can't believe it has been 1 year since Kate Emerson was born! I can honestly say I am surprised at how time has just flown by. We celebrated in traditional Yeager 1st Birthday fashion, which means having the family over for food and cake. I will admit that it was a lot more low key than Sarah or Ashley's first. Oh well, I guess we can chalk it up to "3rd child syndrome" Thanks go out to Nana who brought the helium filled birthday balloon, which has supplied countless hours of entertainment and will continue to do so for awhile. We were sorry that Grandma couldn't be there, but I'm sure she will have lots of great stories and pictures to share of her adventures in Ireland when she returns from her trip!

Wow! I get the honor of posting the first comment on your blog. I'm so happy that I'll get a chance to keep up with you, even if we don't make it to Starbucks as often. Kate looks like she had a wonderful birthday. Congratulations on making it through the first year!
